Guidelines International Network Conference in Glasgow (GIN 2023)

Evidence Prime attended the 18th annual GIN conference 2023 in Glasgow from September 19th to 22nd, focusing on three main themes: collaboration among guidelines, automation in guideline development, and stakeholder involvement.

They highlighted their support for collaboration through initiatives like eCovid RecMap. Automation tools like Laser AI and GRADEpro were discussed, along with a new concept, RecChat, for database searching.

The GIN conference 2023 also addressed stakeholder engagement and introduced tools like Decision Aids and Plain Language Recommendations. Barriers in public engagement were discussed, with PanelVoice offered as a solution.

Dr. Wojtek Wiercioch received the prestigious Najoua Mlika-Cabanne award for contributions to guideline development science. He presented on decision thresholds during the conference, emphasizing Evidence Prime's commitment to advancing guideline development.
